Take YRT to the MURC in Town of Georgina
On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the new Multi-use Recreation Complex (MURC) will be opening in the Town of Georgina at Garrett Styles Drive and Woodbine Avenue.
York Region Transit (YRT) makes it easy to get there – see below for a list of routes that can take you there.
- Route 50 – Queensway: Customers can transfer to On-Request Keswick to travel to the MURC
- NEW Route 51 – Keswick: Provides local service in the community of Keswick, connecting residents to the MURC (weekday service begins March 4, 2024)
- On-Request Keswick*: A YRT vehicle will pick you up from your home, or any address in the service area, and take you to the MURC
- On-Request 65+*: Offered to seniors age 65+, a YRT vehicle will pick you up and take you to any location in York Region within 5 kilometres, including the MURC
- Mobility On-Request Paratransit: York Region’s door-to-door, shared ride, accessible public transit service for people with disabilities

Town of Georgina customers travelling from outside Keswick may take On-Request North or Sutton-Pefferlaw and connect to a route servicing the MURC.
How to pay:
Discounted fares are offered through the PRESTO card, YRT Pay App and Transit App. YRT transfers are valid for two hours of unlimited travel on any route. Visit yrt.ca/Fares for complete fare information.
