6. Lisa Gonsalves, Director, Strategies and Partnerships Branch, Community and Health Services advised that recruitment procedures for the York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee 2014-2018 term will begin in Fall 2014.
7. Brian Lynch praised the Mobility Plus transportation system and its recent improvements due to the implementation of new scheduling software, which has greatly increased the efficiency of the booking process.
8. The next meeting of the York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee is scheduled for September 10, 2014, which will include a formal meeting followed by an appreciation celebration.
