Committee of the Whole recommends:
1. Receipt of the deputation by Pranavan Ganeshalingam, resident of Markham, and Logan Kanapathi, Councillor Ward 7, City of Markham.
2. The Regional Chairman write to the Chair of the Toronto Transit Commission Board requesting a meeting to discuss the reinstatement of TTC Route 53B/E along Elson Avenue in the City of Markham.

1. Receipt of the communication from Daniel Kostopoulos, Commissioner of Transportation and Community Planning, dated January 22, 2014 regarding ‘December 2013 York Region Transit (YRT/VIVA) Ridership Statistics’.
2. Receipt of the communication from Caroline Grech, Government Relations, CAA South Central Ontario, dated December 16, 2013 regarding ‘Red Light Program in York Region’.
3. Receipt of the communication from Jeffrey A. Abrams, City Clerk, City of Vaughan, dated December 16, 2013 regarding ‘Federal Support of the Yonge Street North Subway Extension’ and Council endorse the resolution of the City of Vaughan.
