1. Receipt of the communication from Dr. Karim Kurji, Medical Officer of Health, dated March 6, 2014 regarding ‘Update on Risk Categorization of Small Drinking Water Systems in York Region’.

2. Receipt of the communication from Stephanie Jurrius, Legislative Specialist, Region of Peel, dated January 30, 2014 regarding ‘Provincial Transportation Initiatives Update’ and referral to staff for a report back to Committee on Provincial transportation initiatives in York Region.

15. POST-SECONDARY INSTITUTION IN YORK REGION
Regional Chair Fisch advised Committee that York University has indicated its interest in establishing a new university campus in York Region.
The Regional Chair advised that York University would likely be sending a letter with a list of criteria for the new campus location and requested that any local municipality interested in providing input to York University should start preparations in anticipation of the process beginning in the next few weeks.
