Elections
1. Election of Chair
Regional Councillor Spatafora nominated Regional Chair Emmerson for the position of Chair of the Transportation Master Plan Advisory Task Force. There being no further nominations, Regional Chair Emmerson was acclaimed Chair of the Task Force.
2. Election of Vice-Chair
Regional Councillor Armstrong nominated Regional Councillor Jones for the position of Vice-Chair of the Transportation Master Plan Advisory Task Force. There being no further nominations, Regional Councillor Jones was acclaimed Vice-Chair of the Task Force.
Deputations
3. Truck Restrictions on Langstaff Road and Pine Valley Drive
The Task Force recommends:
1. Receipt and referral of the deputation from John Vizzini, Resident of the City of Vaughan, to a future meeting of Committee of the Whole that will consider Truck Restrictions on Langstaff Road and Pine Valley Drive.
2. Receipt and referral of the deputation from Rose Savage, Weston Downs Ratepayers Association, to a future meeting of Committee of the Whole that will consider Truck Restrictions on Langstaff Road and Pine Valley Drive.

4. What the Public Thinks about Transportation
The Task Force recommends receipt of the video presentation regarding “What the Public Thinks about Transportation”.

5. Overview of the Future of Transportation in York Region
The Task Force recommends receipt of the presentation by Daniel Kostopoulos, Commissioner of Transportation Services and Mary-Frances Turner, President of York Region Rapid Transit Corporation regarding “Overview of the Future of Transportation in York Region”, which included a background of the Transportation Master Plan, expected growth in the Region and a vision for an integrated transit network.
6. Transportation Realities
The Task Force recommends receipt of the presentation by Brian Hollingworth, Director, IBI Group regarding “Transportation Realities”, which included information on public concerns and implications of growth on travel patterns in York Region.
7. Policy Considerations and Network Alternatives
The Task Force recommends receipt of the presentation by Stephen Collins, Director, Infrastructure Management and PMO regarding “Policy Considerations and Network Alternatives”, which included network development tactics to optimize, expand and transform the transportation system in York Region.
8. Next Steps
The Task Force recommends receipt of the presentation by Stephen Collins, Director, Infrastructure Management and PMO regarding next steps for the Task Force, which include summarizing and responding to public feedback from open houses, develop recommended transportation networks and policy direction, and identifying alternative funding approaches.

9. Approved Terms of Reference
The Task Force recommends receipt of the approved Terms of Reference of the Transportation Master Plan Advisory Task Force adopted by Regional Council at its meeting held on April 23, 2015.
10. Request to Restrict Trucks on Langstaff Road
The Task Force recommends receipt of Clause 2 in Report No. 7 of Committee of the Whole regarding “Request to Restrict Trucks on Langstaff Road” that was referred to the Task Force by Regional Council at its meeting held on April 23, 2015.

11. Schedule of Future Meetings
The next meeting of the Task Force will be held on September 30, 2015.
