Green Lane from Highway 404 to Woodbine Avenue
Transportation improvements prepare York Region to meet the needs of motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and transit users today and into the future. York Region is making improvements to Green Lane from east of Highway 404 to Woodbine Avenue.
Duration: July 2024 to August 2024
Road improvements
- Removing and replacing asphalt road surface
- Repairing curbs and gutters
- Relining an existing culvert crossing Green Lane west of Woodbine Avenue
Impacts to travellers
Lane closures limited to:
- Weeknights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for major road works including paving
- Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane closures are required
- Access to homes, businesses and Highway 404 will be maintained
As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
