Notice of Intersection Improvements in the City of Richmond Hill

York Region’s Vision Zero Traveller Safety Plan supports improvements to road safety for motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and transit users today and into the future. York Region is installing an eastbound full protected left turn lane.

Duration: Construction will occur in the next six months depending on the contractor’s scheduling

Description:

Intersection improvements 

  • York Region is installing an eastbound fully protected left turn lane

Impacts to travellers:

  • Temporary lane reductions weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Access for emergency vehicles, homes and businesses will be maintained
  • Safety if a priority; please slow down through construction areas

As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
