Improvements coming to Bloomington Road
Transportation improvements prepare York Region to meet the needs of motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and transit users today and into the future. York Region is making improvements to Bloomington Road from Ninth Line to west of York-Durham Line.
Description:
Road improvements
- Removing and replacing asphalt road surface
- Roadside ditch cleaning
- Curb and culvert repairs and replacements
Duration:
August 2024 to September 2024
Impacts to travellers:
Lane closures limited to:
- Monday to Friday evenings from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane closures are required
- Access to homes and businesses will be maintained
As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
