Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study of Langstaff Road in the City of Vaughan
The Regional Municipality of York is beginning a Schedule C Environmental Assessment (EA) Study for the proposed improvements to Langstaff Road from Weston Road to Highway 7, including a possible connection across the CN MacMillan Rail Yard and interchange improvements at Highway 400, in the City of Vaughan.
The study will review the growth in the area and potential improvements needed to accommodate the existing and future transportation needs of this corridor.
York Region is asking for public and stakeholders to provide their feedback and suggestions throughout the EA study. Information regarding open houses and other community events will be published in newspapers, on the Langstaff Road EA web page and on York Region’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. This notice was issued on December 8, 2016.
