Regional Roads
Regional roads are typically main arterial roadways that connect our nine local municipalities to one another. They are operated and maintained by The Regional Municipality of York. Each is identified by a numbered Regional road sign. The red lines on the map below are Regional roads. Local roads are operated and maintained by local municipalities. 400 series highways are the responsibility of the Province of Ontario.
