The Housing Provider Capital Repair Grant Program provides funding for housing provider capital repair needs in the form of a conditional grant. If approved, funds are not repayable providing housing providers comply with affordability requirements and community housing obligations for the duration of the affordability period.
The amount of funding provided will depend on the approved amount based on the approved scope of work identified in the contribution agreement. Costs exceeding the approved amount or for work not identified in the executed contribution agreement will not be covered by the Region and will be the responsibility of the housing provider.

York Region will use the same scoring matrix for all applications. Only completed applications submitted will be considered. Late applications will not be accepted.
