The York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee advises Committee of the Whole of the following matters having been considered by the York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee with the following action:

1. Lisa Gonsalves, Director, Strategies and Partnerships Branch, Community and Health Services regarding ‘York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee – Term Highlights and Achievements ’ Received
Communication
2. Adelina Urbanski, Commissioner, Community and Health Services, dated September 4, 2014 regarding ‘Accessibility Compliance Update on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) – 2014 Requirements’ Received

3. Committee Meeting Structure
In response to Commissioner Urbanski’s request for feedback on the structure and various elements of the meeting, Committee members suggested consideration of the following:
- Breakout sessions during the meeting in order to respond back to the whole committee on an issue
- Review of the meeting time
- Reduction of paper – electronic agendas
4. Accolades to Staff
Committee members provided accolades to the staff for their professionalism, guidance and commitment over the past term.
