It was moved by Regional Councillor Taylor, seconded by Mayor Barrow that Council receive the communication from Linda Keith, President, PFLAG Canada on behalf of the York Pride Fest Committee, dated March 1, 2014 and recognize June 14 - 22, 2014 as Pride Week in York Region.

OTHER BUSINESS
72 Southeast Collector Trunk Sewer Project
Regional Chair Fisch advised that, after more than ten years of work, the last southeast collector boring machine finished the job on May 12, 2014. The project involved three years of construction, and resulted in 16 construction compounds and 19 shafts for a total length of 15 kilometres.
Regional Chair Fisch offered congratulations to Regional Council and to Erin Mahoney, Commissioner of Environmental Services and Daniel Kostopoulos, Commissioner of Transportation and Community Planning and their teams for the great accomplishment.
It was moved by Regional Councillor Spatafora, seconded by Mayor Dawe that Council receive the presentation of photos and video regarding the Southeast Collector Trunk Sewer Project and the celebration of the project’s conclusion.

It was moved by Mayor Emmerson, seconded by Regional Councillor Spatafora that Council consent to the nomination of Mayor Robert Grossi for election to the 2014-2016 AMO Board of Directors, Regional and Single-Tier Caucus.

74 Police Services Board
Mayor Hackson advised that the York Region Police Services Board has been selected to host the 2015 Canadian Association of Police Governance in August 2015 in Markham. A video will be produced within the next couple of weeks representing all nine York Region municipalities and each Mayor is invited to take part by showcasing a recognizable feature of their municipality.
75 Live Audio Streaming of Council Meetings
Regional Chair Fisch advised that today is the first live audio broadcast of the Regional Council meeting.

It was moved by Regional Councillor Landon, seconded by Mayor Bevilacqua that Council convene in Private Session for the purpose of considering the following:
1. Mobility Plus Eligibility Appeal Panel – Solicitor-Client Privilege
2. Update regarding York University Campus in York Region – Acquisition or Disposition of Land
