Report dated August 14, 2015 from the Chief Planner and Regional Solicitor recommending that:
1. Council consider the application for exemption from the Retail Business Holidays Act as submitted by 2394742 Ontario Inc. operating as Seasons Foodmart (the “Applicant”) for its retail business Seasons Foodmart located at 7181 Yonge Street in Markham, Ontario.
2. Council determine whether to grant an exemption from the Retail Business Holidays Act to allow the Applicant to remain open on New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day and Thanksgiving Day.
3. A bylaw be presented to give effect to the exemption, if granted by Council.
