Let’s play catch-up this summer
This summer is a great time for students ages 4 to 17 to catch up on any missing routine immunizations for free.
York Region immunization clinics offer students vaccines to protect them against Meningococcal, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (whooping cough), Polio, Measles, Hepatitis B, HPV and many others.
Many appointment bookings are available over the summer months, making it easy and convenient for your child to get caught up on immunizations before they return to school in September.
What do you need to do?
- Check your child’s immunization records (yellow card) to find out what immunizations are required or speak to a health care professional
- View and update your child's immunization information online at Immunization Connect Ontario (ICON). This will help to ensure your child receives the correct vaccine(s)
- Book an appointment
- Bring your child’s immunization record (yellow card) to the immunization appointment, if available
Help your child stay healthy and protected by ensuring they are up to date with their vaccines. Book an appointment at a York Region immunization clinic or have a health care professional vaccinate your child.
