Housing York Inc. (HYI) promotes effective communication with residents by providing newsletters, notices, resident surveys and resident meetings. Check your email or HYI notice board for the latest information in your community.
Maintenance Requests
For sites with Resident Portal access: Please submit maintenance requests electronically using the Resident Portal.
For sites without Resident Portal access: Please fill out a paper Maintenance Request Form available in your building lobby, laundry room or Superintendent’s office. Completed forms should be placed in the drop box located next to the Superintendent’s office.
HYI provides the following for maintenance and repair requests:
- Staff contact information posted on the notice board in your building
- "While you were out" notices to confirm your request has been completed
- Maintenance and repair service standards

HYI offices are open to the public, however, visits are strictly by appointment only. Please schedule an appointment in advance to ensure a team member is available to assist you.

Please note: Effective December 1, 2022, the HYI south office has been closed indefinitely. All mail must be sent to the main office address, listed above.
