Notice of Public Meeting The Regional Municipality of York Retail Business Holidays Act Application for Exemption
On Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 9:30 a.m., the Committee of the Whole of The Regional
Municipality of York will hold a public meeting pursuant to the Retail Business Holidays Act.
The purpose of the public meeting is to consider a proposed bylaw to permit the retail business
establishments located within the area identified below to remain open on the holidays and
during the hours set out as follows:

City of Vaughan | All retail businesses located in the area bounded by Highway 7 to the north, Yonge Street to the east, Steeles Avenue to the south and Dufferin Street to the west. |

8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. |
The proceedings of the Committee and its recommendations will be presented to Regional
Council for adoption on September 11, 2014.
Any person who attends this public meeting on September 4, 2014 will have the opportunity
to make representations in respect of the proposed bylaw. Representations regarding this
proposed bylaw will be heard only at this meeting and will not be permitted at Regional
Council.
