1. Proposed York Region Development Charges Bylaw
Pursuant to the Development Charges Act, 1997, York Region Committee of the Whole held a public meeting to receive input on a proposed Region-wide bylaw for imposing development charges against all lands in York Region (with the exception of wastewater charges in the Village of Nobleton, Township of King) and recommends:

Other Business
13. Launch of York Region Mobile App
Regional Chair Emmerson announced the launch of the York Region Mobile App and encouraged members of Committee to download the app on their mobile devices. The York Region Mobile App allows customers to access Regional services, including the ability to report on a problem on Regional roads, review job postings and sign-up for emergency notifications.
14. Appointment to York Region Agricultural Advisory Liaison Group
Regional Chair Emmerson announced the appointment of Township of King Councillor Avia Eek as a Regional representative on the York Region Agricultural Advisory Liaison Group.

Committee of the Whole recommends adoption of the recommendation contained in the confidential report of the Regional Solicitor dated February 16, 2017 and that the report be forwarded for consideration at Council’s private session on March 23, 2017.
