Nobleton Area-Specific Development Charges Bylaw Public Notice
The Regional Municipality of York is proposing an Area-Specific Development Charges Bylaw that if passed, will permit The Regional Municipality of York to continue to impose wastewater development charges against all lands in the Village of Nobleton, in the Township of King.
Development charges are fees collected on new residential and non-residential development. These development charges are the primary funding source for growth-related wastewater infrastructure in the Village of Nobleton.
On May 27, 2021, York Regional Council will consider the approval of the proposed Area-Specific Development Charges Bylaw.
Input on the proposed bylaw can be submitted at the upcoming online public meeting which will be held pursuant to the Development Charges Act, 1997.
