Nobleton Sewage Pumping Station - Notice of Field Study
The Regional Municipality of York is conducting multiple field studies in preparation for the Nobleton Sewage Pumping Station rehabilitation project.
As part of the field study work, York Region will be drilling sample boreholes and installing monitoring wells on the Nobleton Sewage Pumping Station property, in the Township of King.
When: Mid-August to November, 2023
Impact:
- There will be some construction-related vibrations and noise from equipment and trucks; every effort to minimize this will be made
- There is no impact to your water or wastewater services
- A drill rig may be needed to drill sample boreholes and install the groundwater monitoring wells; the groundwater monitoring wells will be removed when the rehabilitation work is completed
- All boreholes and monitoring well’s locations will be restored to their original condition
Thank you for your patience while we complete this vital work.
As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather or other conditions. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
