  • Current Introduction
  • Understanding of Social Procurement
  • Current Social Procurement Practices
  • Capacity and Resources
  • Feedback and Suggestions

York Region is building on its existing high-level commitment to social procurement, currently embedded in the Procurement Bylaw 2021-103, to maximize benefits to serve our thriving communities – today and tomorrow.

We are looking to hear from businesses as we are conducting research for the development of the Region’s future social procurement framework.

We encourage all businesses, regardless of size and background, to participate and share their perspective as a key input for our framework development. This survey will be a critical input to identify procurement opportunities and to gather information on your barriers, needs, and interests. This will inform the gradual introduction of social procurement practices into York Region’s procurements.

The personal information provided on this survey is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001 for the purposes of gathering input for the development of a Social Procurement Policy and Framework.

Questions about this survey can be directed to @email.

This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to compete.
