Committee received the communication from Adelina Urbanski, Commissioner, Community and Health Services dated February 10, 2017 regarding “York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee Membership”.
7. Accessible Trail in the Town of Georgina
Committee received the communication from Wayne Emmerson, Regional Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, York Region dated February 7, 2017 regarding “Accessible Trail in the Town of Georgina”.
8. Portable Accessible Washroom Trailer Community Project
Committee deferred the communication from Wayne Emmerson, Regional Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, York Region dated February 8, 2017 regarding “Portable Accessible Washroom Trailer Community Project”.

9. New Members - Accessibility Advisory Committee
Regional Councillor Spatafora introduced and welcomed three new members to the Accessibility Advisory Committee who were appointed by Regional Chair Emmerson; Mayor Justin Altmann, Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville and citizen members Laurie Fortnum and Angelo Tocco.
10. Valentyna Navolskyy
Committee was introduced to a new staff member, Valentyna Navolskyy, Senior Policy Analyst, Strategies and Partnerships Branch, Community and Health Services, who will be working with the Accessibility Advisory Committee.
11. Adelina Urbanski, Commissioner of Community and Health Services - Retirement
Regional Councillor Spatafora advised that Adelina Urbanski, Commissioner of Community and Health Services will be retiring at the end of March, 2017 and thanked her for her commitment, dedication and leadership on the Accessibility Advisory Committee.
12. Update on York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee Legacy Event
Due to time constraints at this meeting, Committee will receive a written update on the York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee Legacy Event shortly.
