13. Decommissioned Ambulance Donation to St. Lucia
Regional Councillor Spatafora advised that a decommissioned ambulance, donated by York Region, was presented to St. Jude Hospital in St. Lucia on March 29, 2017 at a ceremony which he attended along with Norm Barrette, Chief and General Manager of Paramedic and Seniors Services.
14. Presentations on Bill 68 - Modernizing Ontario’s Municipal Legislation Act, 2017
Mayor Van Bynen advised that the Standing Committee on Social Policy is holding public hearings on Bill 68 in Toronto on April 10 and 11, 2017. Anyone wishing to make an oral presentation at one of the hearings should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the Clerk of the Committee by 9 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017. 15. York Region Planning Advisory Committee Recruitment
Regional Chair Emmerson reminded Members of Council that York Region is currently recruiting for members of the community to sit on the Planning Advisory Committee. Once formed, the committee will support York Regional Council and staff by providing input on topics that impact the long-term community vision for the Region. Applications are being accepted until April 28, 2017.

Committee of the Whole resolved into private session at 11:49 a.m. to consider the following:
