Join York Region’s in person Remembrance Day service

Members of the community are invited to join York Region’s Remembrance Day Service on Monday, November 11, to honour the lives and sacrifices of Canadian heroes who served and continue to serve our country.

The service will be held in the Great Hall at the York Region Administrative Centre at 17250 Yonge Street in the Town of Newmarket, beginning at 10:25 a.m. It will also be live streamed on york.ca/Live

We encourage residents to commemorate Veterans’ Week and Remembrance Day in a way meaningful and personal to you. Please consider:

Wearing a Poppy or making a donation to support veterans and their families in our communities directly
Observing a two-minute silence on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 11 a.m. and / or
Attending a Remembrance Day event in your community
