York Region is upgrading our water and wastewater infrastructure to provide safe, cost-efficient and reliable water and wastewater services to residents, businesses and communities.

Description
- Upgrading the Aurora Sewage Pumping Station located at 242 St. John’s Sideroad in the Town of Aurora
- Work includes upgrading the system which processes sewage waste and adding a connection to a maintenance hole
Duration
January to June, 2025
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; overnight and weekend work will happen as needed
Impacts
- No planned impacts to water or wastewater services
- Access to all residences and businesses will be maintained
- St. Andrews Valley Golf Course is not impacted by the work
As with all construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other conditions. York Region will provide advance notice where possible. We understand construction is disruptive; thank you for your patience while we complete this vital work.
