Notice of Completion - Mount Albert Environmental Assessment
The Regional Municipality of York has completed a Schedule B Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) study to identify improvements to the water supply system and water quality in the community of Mount Albert in the Town of East Gwillimbury.
As a result of the study, York Region identified providing centralized iron and manganese removal technology for all wells at the existing Wells 1 & 2 Facility as the preferred solution to improve water quality and identified operational modifications to facilitate maintenance of water storage in the Mount Albert Water Supply System.
