International Overdose Awareness Day Community Vigil

Saturday, August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day, a global campaign to end overdose and reduce drug-related stigma. Presented by The Harm Reduction Coalition of York Region, CAYR Community Connections is hosting an in-person event for International Overdose Awareness Day.

The event aims to bring people together to remember the lives lost to drug poisoning, acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind, stimulate action and discussion about evidence-informed overdose prevention and drug policy and spread the message about the tragedy of drug poisoning.
