Rules and Regulations
The following materials are accepted in any condition (gently used, worn or torn) as long as they are clean, dry and odourless:
Blankets, bedding, sheets, pillows
Clothing, jackets and footwear
Drapery, curtains
Linens, towels, washcloths
Purses, hats, belts and ties
Reading glasses
Sleeping bags
Soft toys, toys, sports equipment
Not Accepted:
Appliances
Electronics
Furniture
Hazardous waste
Housewares and kitchenware
E-waste must be limited to max. weight of 40 pounds (small quantities only). Unacceptable Materials for Electronics Recycling include; rear projectors, peripherals, electric tools, CD's/DVD's, video games, vacuum cleaners. medical equipment, kitchen appliances, printer cartridges, video games and large TV’s (max. 32 inch TV screen). Batteries must be in a closed container/box.
