York Region residents who are 18 years or older and purchased a backyard composter through the York Region Backyard Composter Sale are invited to participate in this survey.
The personal information submitted in this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 and in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.M.56. and will be used for program planning and evaluation. The information collected helps identify opportunities to improve York Region’s outreach strategies. Participation in this survey is voluntary and your responses will remain confidential. This survey will take approximately five to ten minutes to complete. Survey closes on March 31, 2025.

The contest starts Monday, March 3, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. (EST) and ends on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (EST).
Draw will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 12:01 p.m. Winners must answer a skill-testing question.
