ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGERS AVAILABLE AT YORK REGION FACILITIES
Time to take charge and power up!
York Region has installed 70 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at 13 Regional facilities, including 66 which are accessible to the public.
The Level 2 charging stations are available to staff and the public, and offer those who drive electric vehicles a reliable and convenient option to charge.

The fee-per-use ($2/hour) is calculated based on the total amount of time the vehicle is connected to the charging station.
The program will support further electrification of fleet vehicles across the Region, and demonstrates another way York Region is taking action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
